I have had my first photo shoot in my new studio! YAY! It was a lovely couple who booked a newborn photography session here in Danderyd. Actually in Djursholm where my NEW studio is located.
Sleepy baby
To get the best newborn photos is really when the newborn baby is still newborn. That counts up to about 12 days. So the best time for you to book a photo session is when your newborn is 6-12 days young. You book your photo session already when you know your due date. Then of course it is hard to say exactly what day when your baby will be born but I will pencil you in to my schedule and then I’m flexible about the days when it’s time to do the magic.
In mum and dad’s hands
I always do the cute posing pictures with your baby, not too advanced and with care and safety for your baby. Here I have included mum and dad’s hands as you can see.
Newborn photography props
I have a lot of props for your newborn in my studio. If you would like to bring some of your own clothes you are most welcome and you can also choose from what I have. For example I have soft beanies, hair bands, skirts, knitted trousers and some overalls for your newborn. My personal opinion is: less is more, but it’s up to you what you like.
Experience from Newborn photography
When you come to me you can feel safe with your newborn baby. I have three children on my own and I took a Newborn Photography Cours from the famous Australian newborn photographer Kelly Brown a few years ago. Actually in Barcelona in Spain. I have everything in the studio that is necessary for a newborn photo shoot. For example a heater so that the baby doesn’t feel cold during the session when we change clothes etc. All the clothes, blankets and props are made for newborns and babies and everything is washable so don’t worry about that.
How do I book my newborn photography session?
It’s not easy to know what day the baby decides to enter the world. When you have decided that you want to do newborn photography with your baby, get in touch with me!
You tell me what due date you have and I pencil you in to my calendar. After the baby is born, you send me a text message and then we book a day that suites you 6-12 days later.
