There is something timeless about newborn photography in your home. Recently, I had the joy of documenting this little girl, only three days old, in the comfort of her family’s home.

Family from Italy
Her mother held her close while relatives, who had traveled all the way from Italy, gathered to welcome her. Grandma, granddad and the little girl’s uncle where there to cuddle with her the first days of her life. So cute.

Memories for the future
Choosing a newborn photo session in your home brings a different kind of intimacy. The baby is surrounded by familiar sounds, and the family can relax in their own environment. For this little girl, it also means that years from now she will be able to see not only her tiny fingers and expressions, but also the home she lived in during her very first days in 2025. She will see her first bed, the details of the interior, and the spaces where her family loved her.

At-home baby photography invites authenticity. There is no rush, no studio setting — only natural moments unfolding at their own pace. The baby can rest, be fed, and be comforted without pressure. The result is a gallery of images that not only capture the beauty of a newborn but also reflect the heart of family life.

Preserving the past for the future
As a photographer, I am always reminded of how quickly these first weeks pass. A newborn changes every day, but photographs preserve the feeling of those fleeting hours. This little girl will always be able to look back and see where her story began: in the arms of her mother, in a home filled with love, and in the presence of family who traveled from afar to welcome her.

Don’t wait for a better time, it’s now
I have so many clients who comes with their second child and they say: oh I wish I had done this photo session with my first child. Don’t wait, this time will never come back.
