Finally!
The day had arrived. Jakob and Anna contacted me last autumn to ask if I was available for their wedding at Smådalarö Gård the 4th of June 2022. I felt right away – YES, I DO. Many months later, good planning, a pre wedding session in Ulriksdals slottspark and email conversations back and forth, it was time, time for the big day.
Preparations
Let’s start with the Preparations in the hotel of Smådalarö Gård. Lovely setting, hotel and rooms and the staff was really nice and helpful. Anna’s beautiful dress is from By Malina Bridal.
First Look at the wedding at Smådalarö Gård
Then we went for the First Look out in front of the hotel. It was a warm and beautiful day so we had so seek the shadow to not to get too much strong shadows in the faces.
Here’s a small and very important detail from the day.
Ceremony
The day went on and we drove to the church to the other side of Små Dalarö for the beautiful ceremony in this tiny old church. It was beautiful, a little bit dark but I managed to get around. It had a balcony and that is always a plus at a wedding.
Quick back to the hotel again for Group photos. A lot of different settings with families, bridesmaids, groom’s men, siblings etc.
Portraits

Mingle and dinner was next.
This was an amazing wedding at Smådalarö Gård, such humble and lovely wedding couple and guests. I somehow always feel like a guest myself at the weddings I photograph. I feel I’m very privileged to be a part of a wedding couple’s day like this. Thank you again Anna and Jakob.
